This State Heritage listed North Adelaide hotel has been extended several times and it’s character is derived from that evolution. The design solution retained all of the previous extensions but removed some of the unsympathetic accretions that detracted from the simplicity of the freely
flowing and linked cellular spaces.

The renovations have also opened up a very internal pub by way of creating interaction between the bars and dining spaces and more transparency inwards and outwards.
